Uganda coffee prices: Coffee is pretty much one of those beverages that literally every household has encountered or some consider themselves addicted to , in East Africa , coffee is grown in Uganda, Rwanda , Tanzania and bits of Kenya.  Well enough of the coffee in general, let’s focus on Ugandan coffee.  Uganda produces two types of coffee namely Arabica coffee and Robusta coffee. Arabica coffee is grown in the hilly and mountainous areas of Uganda to mention Bugisu and Kapchorwa in eastern Uganda, west Nile in the areas of Paidha and in Rwenzori mountain area.   The robusta coffee is produced in central part of the Uganda in Buganda region and parts of Busoga sub region.

Note that Uganda holds the record of being Africa’s second largest producer next    Ethiopia, as well as being Africa’s top Robusta coffee variety producer.

 Over time Uganda coffee prices keep changing as result of many factors some of which may include world price fluctuations and   other factors that affect demand and supply.  Being Africa’s top producer, robusta coffee counts for the country’s top export variety while Arabica retains its positions and as the one of the most preferred variety because of its pleasant taste.
